The Klownhouse is an independent haunted attraction, set up outside a real house in a residential neighborhood. It's not a professional attraction, but is just as thrilling, detailed, and entertaining.
We are open from 6:00pm - 10pm
Dates: October 30-31, 2015
Be advised that we may take a short 10 minute break around 8:15pm
21116 Denker Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501.
No tickets are needed. Since this is not a business or professional haunted attraction, we do not sell tickets, per se. We do ask for a small donation to benefit this year’s charity: St Jude Children's Hospital.
We do not have any age restrictions. The Klownhouse is open to all ages, but recommended for those 13 years and older, but younger kids may come if parents choose to bring them; however, we strongly discourage bringing babies and forcing terrified children through the haunted house. Carrying children though is NOT recommended. There are many emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue. Many young children have a great time, others will not make it all the way through. Even some adults get too scared to make it through.
No one should enter The Klownhouse if they are so scared that they will not enjoy the experience. Anyone who is pregnant or thinks they may be pregnant, has heart conditions, is prone to epileptic seizures, is claustrophobic or is in poor health, should not tour The Klownhouse. If you are negatively affected by strobe lights, loud noises, water based fog, scented oils, hot or cold temperatures or extreme darkness - you should not tour The Klownhouse.
Yes, completely. While we portray a series of chaotic, horrific happenings, it is all well within our control, carefully watched by our team.
Well, we don't want to spoil the surprise. But there will be eerie environments.
Feel free to come wearing a costume if you would like. However, most people do not. Masks are NOT allowed for the safety of our employees and guests.
Not by us. Running is the main cause of minor injuries. We go to great lengths to provide a safe experience for our guests. If you follow our rules, do not run, and do not touch the employees or scenery, you will make it through safely!
Please make sure any items you bring are securely in your pockets at all times... or better yet, leave them in the car. We are often asked to find lost items. We may or may not be able to check for lost items right away. If you might have dropped an item inside, please email us with the details and we will let you know if the item has been found. More often than not, dropped cell phones and other items are trampled in the dark environment by other customers. We are not responsible for any personal items brought inside The Klownhouse.
NO. Photography of any sort is not allowed in the haunt. Haunted houses are dark and people’s eyes (especially the actors) adjust to the low light. When you flash your camera, you’re not only ruining other customers’ experience but you’re hurting the actors’ eyes. Also, the fog used inside the attractions ruins flash photography. Although no photography or videotaping is allowed inside (including night shots), the monsters working outside will quite often pose for pictures.
We have a few basic rules which must be followed at all times:
*Do not touch any haunt actors or staff at any time
*Do not bring any weapons, alcoholic beverages, or pets onto the property
*Respect other customers and haunt employees; no rude or lewd behavior, defacing property, etc.
*No smoking inside, or within 15 feet of any structure.
*No flashlights, cellphones, lighters, laser pointers or flash photography inside the attractions.

ABSOLUTELY. You must be 12 or over. If you are under 18 you will need to have your parent's permission. We need actors as well as a few folks to help with crowd and traffic control. And if you have a specific skill that you'd like to offer, we're happy to listen.
Contact us to volunteer.
YES. Of course. It's a haunted house. What fun would it be if it wasn't scary? Our goal is to leave you screaming… but also smiling. And possibly a little disturbed. Or a lot.
